PSYCHO-ONCOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PALLIATIVE CARE (82 credits)
Developed to meet educational needs of professionals interested in the care of cancer patients along the disease continuum through an online curriculum grounded in both, theory and practice.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Provide state-of-the-art knowledge in psycho-oncology and in the psychological aspects of palliative care, while integrating different psychological theories in the medical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of cancer care.
  • Facilitate the development of clinical skills to optimize multidisciplinary patient care.

WHO SHOULD APPLY: Health professionals (physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers) interested in the psychological aspects of cancer and palliative care.

FORMAT: Online, cutting-edge educational technology is used to deliver engaging coursework with relevant practical implications. Multimedia is employed to discuss clinical cases, controversial issues in psychooncology and palliative care and other structured activities.

COSTS: 2.850 euros + university dues (approximately 50 eur)

FACULTY: Instruction is provided by expert international instructors with relevant clinical and teaching experience.
